Customer data center
Offers direct infrastructure ownership, but the customer must supply capacity, patching, gateway controls, monitoring, backup storage, and recovery procedures.
Deployment decision
The useful question is not which label sounds more private. It is which team owns the host, runtime identities, network path, secrets, storage, logs, updates, backups, and incident recovery. Bewize supports a customer-controlled Linux/systemd host, which can be operated in a data center or suitable private-cloud environment.

Both models can keep the agent runtime on infrastructure the company controls. Their differences usually appear in physical ownership, infrastructure responsibility, connectivity, recovery tooling, and how quickly the operations team can patch or replace a failed host.

Trace every operational responsibility to a named owner and a verifiable control.
Managed agent runtime
Offers direct infrastructure ownership, but the customer must supply capacity, patching, gateway controls, monitoring, backup storage, and recovery procedures.
Can provide faster provisioning and managed infrastructure primitives, while the customer still controls the selected account, network, storage, identities, and runtime operations.
Placing the agent runtime on customer-controlled infrastructure does not automatically place the model there. The current supported path requires outbound hosted-model access.
Do not infer that every collaboration service is included inside the same boundary. A turnkey on-premise Roomcord package is not currently documented as shipped.
We can review your infrastructure ownership, required network paths, model strategy, storage, backup, recovery, and operating responsibilities before a pilot.
