Roomcord / Room agent

An AI teammate that carries context into the work.

Your team has discussed the decision. Someone still needs to prepare the options, ask for missing information and carry the next step forward. Roomcord’s room-agent direction brings that work into the same project room.

What does a Roomcord room agent do?

A room agent is an AI teammate for project owners and teams working from shared conversations, meetings and files. It prepares emails, decks, budget tables and follow-ups, asks for missing information in writing and helps carry agreed work forward. We are developing its connection to Roomcord’s decision engine so preparation, approval, accepted commitments and completion stay connected to the same board.

Prepare the work needed for a decision

An agent can help turn room context into a useful deliverable: a comparison of options, a draft recommendation, a budget table with known inputs or a follow-up email. The request should name the outcome, permitted sources and action boundary. A missing quote, unclear deadline or unconfirmed assumption stays visible as missing information. A draft does not become evidence simply because an agent wrote it.

The intended outcome is work the team can review and use, with its supporting sources attached. It should reduce repeated explanations while keeping unresolved questions clear.

Follow one request from source to accepted next move

Illustrative product-launch example. This is a fictional workflow, not a customer result or a recording of the current interface.

  1. Read the source: the launch room contains a readiness discussion and an attached cost sheet. The project owner asks for a recommendation on two launch options.
  2. Prepare a draft: the agent drafts an email and a budget comparison, linking the discussion and cost sheet. One supplier amount is missing and remains marked unknown.
  3. Ask in writing: within its agreed scope, the agent asks the responsible person for the missing quote and tracks the response. It does not invent a price or silently assign a new commitment.
  4. Review the decision: a person checks the completed comparison and corrects an assumption. The recommendation becomes a ballot if approval is required. The agent cannot approve its own recommendation.
  5. Accept the next move: after the named approver resolves the ballot, Claire accepts one delivery date and first step. Sending the prepared email follows the team’s agreed permission boundary.
  6. Record and close: the accepted commitment, follow-up and completion evidence stay on the same board. The ledger retains the decision, reasons, sources and attributable changes.

Keep preparation, permission and ownership distinct

AI proposes; people confirm extracted decisions and commitments. A suggested owner is not an assignment, and a draft email is not a sent email. An agent may carry out work already authorized within its permitted scope without asking a person to confirm every routine step. New commitments, protected decisions and actions outside that scope need the relevant person.

Money above the room’s limit, legal matters and people decisions require explicit approval. The room agent cannot grant itself access or approve its own request. Work uses permitted room context and connected sources; participation does not imply unrestricted access to every room or external account. Changes retain who changed what, when and why.

Roomcord is the product. Hub and Browser support the work.

Bewize Hub provides the supporting runtime, scheduling and governance for AI coworkers, helping ongoing work and follow-up continue. Wize Browser supports permitted web tasks using selected browser context and the configured access and review boundaries. Neither component makes a decision or grants a new permission on the team’s behalf.

Their purpose here is to help the Roomcord teammate prepare and carry out useful project work. Your team starts with a decision-room workflow and its boundaries; you do not need to assemble three separate products to understand the offer.

Availability as of October 21, 2026

Roomcord already has shared rooms, conversations, files, meeting capture, room memory and agents participating in room work. The integrated room-agent experience described here, connecting preparation to auto-board, ballots, accepted commitments, automated follow-up and the decision ledger, is in development. Exact tools, connected sources and permitted actions depend on the agreed setup. Confirm the first room’s scope and availability before relying on an automated workflow.

Bring one piece of recurring preparation work

Choose a decision that repeatedly needs a deck, comparison, budget table or follow-up. Name its sources, reviewer and action boundary. Build your first decision room around that workflow and measure the work completed, corrections and manual chasing involved.

Questions about the room agent

Can the agent approve its own recommendation?
No. A named human approver resolves required approvals. The agent can prepare options, evidence and a recommendation, but cannot turn its own draft into an approved decision.
Does every action need another confirmation?
No. Work already authorized within an agreed scope can continue. People confirm new decisions and commitments, and review actions requiring approval under the team’s boundaries.
What happens when information is missing?
Keep the gap visible and request the information from the relevant person in writing. A missing amount, owner or date must not be silently invented.
