Platform comparison

Compare operational evidence, not on-premise labels

Two vendors can both say on-premise while offering very different control. Compare the exact runtime boundary, tenant isolation, external dependencies, secrets and storage ownership, operating evidence, update mechanism, and recovery path. Require each answer to point to documentation, configuration, a test, or a production record.

Use one evidence model across every vendor

Score each platform against the same operating boundaries. Mark unavailable evidence as unavailable rather than interpreting it as a supported capability.

Evidence-first platform review

Every claim needs an owner, control, proof, and failure path.

Comparable deployment record

  1. Runtime and infrastructure ownership
  2. Tenant identity and isolation
  3. Model and network dependencies
  4. Secrets, state, logs, and metrics
  5. Updates, backup, and recovery

Runtime ownership

Ask where the control plane and agent services run, who operates the host, and whether the supported topology matches the proposed customer environment.

Isolation mechanism

Look for concrete identities, processes, filesystem boundaries, state separation, access controls, and shutdown or revocation behavior.

Model boundary

Separate agent-runtime hosting from model hosting. Record required egress, supported providers, fallback behavior, and whether customer-hosted models are production-supported or only possible.

Data ownership

Trace databases, workspaces, browser state, logs, shared storage, secrets, retention, deletion, and operator access across the full lifecycle.

Operational maturity

Require health checks, logs, redacted metrics, versioned updates, reconciliation, backup choices, recovery tests, and named operational ownership.

Claim discipline

Keep shipped, validated, experimental, and planned capabilities separate. A vendor-controlled on-prem deployment is not automatically proof of deployment inside a customer environment.

Use your preferred comparison format or the Bewize deployment checklist. We will separate shipped capabilities, environment-specific validation, and unsupported assumptions.
