A company-owned agent fleet, not one cloud assistant

Bewize gives a company one agent per person, team, or function, running on its own servers and inside its own chat, while still using models such as Claude when they fit.

Where Bewize wins

Your boundary, your runtime

A single .deb can turn a Linux box into a fleet of roughly 1,000 isolated agents. Each agent has its own Linux user, per-agent firewall, egress proxy, and memory/CPU quota. Data, files, and memory stay on hardware the customer controls.

Anthropic offers cloud deployment and self-hosted sandboxes or gateways, not an on-prem Claude deployment. Bewize makes the runtime boundary part of the product.

Claude can be a model, not a commitment

Bewize can run OpenAI/Codex, Claude, Bedrock, or OpenRouter, with automatic failover. Change providers across the fleet by configuration. Agents never receive raw provider keys; the Hub injects managed credentials at the proxy.

Claude is a single-vendor model platform. With Bewize, teams can use Claude without making the entire operating model depend on Claude.

Many agents for real organizations

Give each person a personal agent, each department shared agents, and each function its own skills and configuration. Shared folders and scoped peer visibility keep collaboration useful without making every agent org-wide.

Claude Tag provides one shared always-on @Claude per Slack workspace. Claude Code settings are org-wide rather than per-group, and agent teams remain experimental and interactive.

The room belongs to the company

Workcord is the workspace itself: rooms, DMs, voice, calls, transcription, mobile, web, and desktop. Agents are first-class room members, so people and agents can work in the same context.

Claude can connect through Slack, with a read-only Teams connector. Bewize does not bolt an assistant onto the company’s room; it provides the room and the agent fleet together.

Automation that outlives a person

Scheduled jobs belong to the agent or organization. They can run at the cadence the operation needs and continue through staff changes. Versioned skills and flavors add staged rollout and evaluation instead of one org-wide setting.

Claude Code routines belong to an individual user, have a minimum one-hour cadence, and have daily run caps. That is useful for personal routines, but it is a different ownership model from org-owned automation.

Where Claude is stronger

  • Frontier model quality and brand trust. Bewize uses Claude because it is strong.
  • Mature compliance certifications and enterprise administration, including SOC2, ISO, HIPAA-ready controls, RBAC, SCIM, audit logs, and retention controls.
  • Polished consumer-grade chat UX and a larger connector and partner ecosystem.
  • Anthropic’s cloud delivery is simpler when a company wants a managed assistant without operating its own runtime fleet.

Common questions

Can Bewize use Claude?
Yes. Claude is one of the model providers that agents can use, alongside OpenAI/Codex, Bedrock, and OpenRouter.

Does Bewize replace Claude’s models?
No. Bewize provides the agent fleet, control plane, and company workspace. Teams can choose Claude where its model quality fits and change providers when requirements change.

Is Bewize on-premise?
The Hermes Hub agent runtime can run on a Linux box controlled by the company. This comparison is about the agent and workspace layer; model hosting remains a separate provider choice.

How does Claude pricing compare?
Claude Enterprise is described here as $20 per seat plus metered usage at API rates, with sales-assisted quote-only enterprise pricing. Bewize’s model is the box plus the company’s model spend rather than a per-seat assistant meter.

Is Claude Tag a fleet of agents?
No. Claude Tag provides one shared always-on @Claude per Slack workspace, with no multi-persona agents (as of August 2026).

Which should an enterprise choose?
Choose Claude when managed cloud delivery, mature compliance surfaces, and frontier model quality are the priority. Choose Bewize when the company needs a self-hosted fleet, provider choice, org-owned automation, and a workspace it controls.
