Hermes Hub configuration

How do I configure a Hermes Hub tenant?

Configure a Hermes Hub tenant by setting its identity and access state, then reviewing its runtime, storage, environment keys, policies, skills, schedules, and operational evidence. The public Hermes Hub contract exposes these as tenant-scoped control-plane surfaces rather than one shared agent configuration.

Tenant configuration areas

Keep configuration tied to the tenant boundary and document the operator who owns each change.

Identity and access

Create or select the tenant, inspect access state, and define lifecycle ownership.

Runtime and policy

Review agent state, policy boundaries, skills, flavors, and environment key scope.

Storage and schedules

Configure tenant-visible files, shares, schedules, and the evidence used to verify runs.

Hermes Hub tenant configuration FAQ

Where should tenant-visible artifacts live?
Use the tenant workspace for durable artifacts and use company storage only when the tenant has the relevant shared-storage grant. Keep private runtime state and secrets out of shared storage.
How should tenant environment keys be handled?
Write accepted tenant-scoped keys through the tenant environment surface and avoid treating raw secret values as ordinary operator-visible metadata.
Can one configuration be assumed for every tenant?
No. Tenant identity, access, storage, policy, and runtime state are scoped controls and should be reviewed per tenant.
